Piglet

Piglet, looking a little loved!
Today I was thinking about my post last night and I realized I forgot to introduce you all to another family member... Meet Piglet!
This is Lily's partner in crime or friend in need, depending on the moment! He goes everywhere...the mall, the grocery store, out to eat, the doctor and most definatly to bed with us every night! He has even survived a few spins in the washer and dryer...

Lily at her First birthday with her new friends!
Piglet became part of our family at Lily's first birthday. She had a My friends Tigger and Pooh themed birthday party because from the moment she could sit she could bounce and everytime the theme song came on Lily was lets just say "Boogying". So I of course had to go all out for her birthday and we bought every character we could find. The morning after her party we got up to go to breakfast and Lily grabbed Piglet and we went, and he has been going ever since!

I personally think it is adorable and secretly always hoped she would have something like this she was attatched to. Wade on the other hand was hoping she would have picked Tigger, Roo, or pretty much anyone other than Piglet. Thats one thing about Lily, she is a girl who knows what she wants and there is no changing it...wonder where she gets that from??? :)

So besides our 3 dogs, Chance, Petie and Molly, thats pretty much our family! Molly is my four legged baby and is also becoming one of Lily's best pals, but I will have to blog about her another time! I'll leave you with this picture of Lily sleeping with Piglet, and in her words...Night Night.

Lily and Piglet :)
(If you noticed my first post has a few changes since last night...found better pictures and a few typos, so check it out!)

Meet the Boggs

Hello Bloggers,
I have finally decided to join the Blog world and when I say I, I am meaning Momma Boggs...aka Julie! I am pretty sure I am the only one who will be Blogging about anything :) So here goes...
                                                        Meet the Boggs!
This was our first professional family photo, Lily was 5 months!
Wade aka. Daddy Boggs and I have been married now for going on 4 years. We grew up together in church and got married in our early 20's and now are the proud parents to in our opinion the most beautiful and wonderful little girl Lily Lynn aka. Baby Boggs! She is now 16 months old and we are loving every minute of her! I am beyond blessed to be a stay at home mom and am so thankful everyday to get to have that privilege. I was reminded of that privilege today when after a trip to the grocery store Lily and I decided to go to the Sonic to enjoy some half price drinks. Lily has recently decided that she wants to be grown up and drink out of a cup like mommy, so when I have the time and patients I will get her a small cup of ice and fill it with water and she thinks she is to cool! I will post a picture of this if I figure out how??? :) Another amazing Boggs moment was this morning Lily and I were sitting on the couch going through her note cards, and when we got to "dog" before I showed her the picture I asked Lily what word is this, and she paused and looked up at me and said, "gog" which in Lily language translates to dog! She then did the same thing with "hi" so I say all this to say that we are very thankful that Great Aunt Mary gave us the "Your Baby Can Read" collection, because we can...well, kinda. These moments today just reminded me of how blessed I am, as you can tell I LOVE being a MOMMY!!!

On to other things...besides the amazing Life of Lily!
Sweet Lily at 16 months!
The Boggs family is praying to be on the move soon! We have recently put our house up for sale and are looking forward to buying a house that will let our family continue to grow. This is exciting for us and yet at the same time I have very mixed feelings...for one I am a planner and it is hard to plan when you are waiting on someone to buy your house so you can move! So we are kinda in limbo right now and I am trying to heavily depend on my faith that God has a perfect plan and I don't always need to know it...for me this is beyond difficult, so if you ever feel the need to pray for us we are always willing to accept! It also stirs up a bit of emotion because this is the house Wade and I came home from our honeymoon to, and the house we brought our baby home from the hospital to, so you see its kinda bitter sweet.

Well, I would say thats enough Boogying with the Boggs for one night, so until the next blog...Goodnight!
